Using a preliminary planning study from the district's architectural firm, KG&D of Mount Kisco, as well as a recently completed comprehensive facilities review, the committee will begin drafting a plan for possible renovations and facility improvements in all district buildings.

"This is a very important group and we appreciate the complexity of the issue," said Superintendent Joseph Ricca during a recent Coffee & Conversation meeting earlier this month.

"There has not been a targeted community approved building or maintenance project for decades," he said. "This committee will be working with the district's architects to identify a reasonable and responsible plan for the future of our schools."

The next meeting will be at 6:30 pm. on Wednesday, Feb. 11 in the Carl L. Dixson Primary School gymnasium.
