According to a statement from the school district, the 7 p.m. game on Feb. 3 will take place at the gymnasium in the Rye Neck Middle/High School.

Last week, the teachers and students were treated to a special visit from Harlem Wizard Arnold “A-Train” Bernard, according to the school district, which said that the accomplished trick basket baller showed off his dribbling skills.

F.E. Bellows Principal Michael Scarantino has said that he and six others on the school’s staff are among a 22-member team set to take the court on Feb. 3 to raise money for the district.

According to Scarantino, the game will be less about the score and more about the experience and money raised for Rye Neck schools.

According to the school district, Bernard and the rest of the Wizards will “generate laughs, deliver a choreographed trick and slam routine” and show off their slick dribbling skills while entertaining the audience.

Students also will have the opportunity to meet with the Wizards during the Feb. 3 event, according to organizers.
