UTICA, N.Y. -- The Utica College football team opens the 2012 season Saturday with Mamaroneck High School well-represented on the roster.

There are six players from Mamaroneck High School playing for Utica, highlighted by senior and starting quarterback Andrew Benkwitt. Benwitt is coming off of a record-setting junior year.

Benkwitt is joined by fellow senior Eugenio Alvaraz, a defensive back. Four freshmen join the team this season -- Edgar Aguilar, Stephen Puglia and the Spadaro brothers -- Anthony and Joe.

GREENBURGH, N.Y. - Two lanes southbound on the Saw Mill River Parkway were blocked Tuesday evening due to a multiple car accident on just south of Exit 20 near the I-287 in Elmsford.

The right lanes in both northbound and southbound directions of the parkway were closed around 5 p.m. with emergency vehicles on the scene.
