Mamaroneck High's Pace Stages 'The Corn Is Green'

MAMARONECK, N.Y. -- Mamaroneck High School's Performing Arts Curriculum Experience will present its production "The Corn Is Green," written by Emlyn Williams, at Mamaroneck High School, beginning Thursday, Oct. 16, and running through Saturday, Oct. 18.

Each show will begin at 7:30 p.m. in the PACE Theatre.

Ideas and cultures clash in this story about hope, courage and transformation when a forward-thinking woman moves to a struggling Welsh mining village and opens a school for the children who work in the mines.

Tickets can be purchased at door, pending availability; students, $5; adults, $8.

Mamaroneck High School is at 1000 W. Boston Post Road.
