Mamaroneck, Rye Neck Schools Closed Friday

MAMARONECK, N.Y. – Mamaroneck schools are closed again Friday, but are expected to re-open Monday, school district spokesperson Debbie Manetta said. Thursday.

Power has been restored in four of the six buildings, but portions of Chatsworth Avenue School and Mamaroneck High School are still without power.

All after-school and evening activities are also canceled, according to the Mamaroneck School District website.

Rye Neck Schools also are closed Friday. Additionally, the PTSA Dinner Dance and Auction scheduled for Friday has been postponed to Nov. 9, according to the Rye Neck School District website.
