MAMARONECK, N.Y. -- The Multicultural Club, Mamaroneck High School PTSA and Padres Unidos are hosting a Multicultural Celebration on Wednesday, Jan. 14. It is a preview of the popular school-wide Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. assembly, led by MHS Social Studies Teacher Shannon Turner-Porter.
Mamaroneck High School will host an assembly to celebrate the life of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
Photo Credit: ContributedThe assembly will be held in McLain Auditorium. It will commemorate the life of King Jr., and includes more than 200 MHS students singing, dancing, playing musical instruments and speaking during the program.
Two additional in-school assemblies will be held on Thursday, Jan. 15.
