Adopted by New York in 2011, the standards represent a nationwide effort to define expectations for college and career readiness. The survey results will be considered initially by an advisory group that will provide recommendations to the State Education Department and the Board of Regents concerning appropriate revisions to the standards. (This survey does not encompass comments on the length or quality of New York's testing program and related teacher evaluation procedures; rather, it focuses on the academic expectations at each grade level.)

NYSED encourages your participation. View the survey here: www.nysed.gov/aimhighny.
