World War II Veteran Speaks To Hommocks Students On Their D.C. Trip

MAMARONECK, N.Y. -- A World War II veteran recently stopped to talk to Hommocks Middle School Eighth Graders at Arlington National Cemetery on their Washington D.C. trip.

After encountering Mr. Fricks, from Rome, Ga., hearing his story of being a Marine serving in the South Pacific, and landing at Iwo Jima, students asked him questions and then responded with applause, thanking him for his service.
