4 Mamaroneck Runners Race At State Track Championships

MAMARONECK, N.Y.-- Four Mamaroneck High School runners will race at Saturday's State Track and Field Indoor Championships at Cornell University.

Shari Rauls will compete in the 600-meter run. Katie DeVore qualified for the 1,000-meter race. Lauren Chapey will run 1,500 meters. And Sean Ideozu qualified individually for the 300-meter run as well as for a Section I relay team.

The junior girls are making their third trip to the indoor championships at Barton Hall in Ithaca.

Ideozu, also a junior, will be running for Section I in the intersectional relay. The relay team is defending its gold medal from last winter’s championship.
