ARDSLEY, N.Y. Mamaroneck had five individual champions, including two most outstanding wrestler honors, leading the Tigers to the team title in the Joe Radomski Wrestling Tournament Saturday.
Mamaroneck amassed 215 points to outdistance runner-up Croton, which had 211.5 points.Troy Whittemore won the 120-pound title and was named the most outstanding senior and Youssif Hemida was the 170-pound champ and also earned most outstanding freshman honors.
Ben Miller won the 152-pound crown, Dion Duran was the victor at 160 and Edgar Aguilar continued his outstanding first wrestling season by winning the 285-pound title.
It was a great day for our team, Mamaroneck coach Anthony Vitti said.
