ESPN commentators Len Elmore and Jackie MacMullan will also be honored.

Bob Berchem and Tabitha Brickhouse-Fortt will be the Fairfield alumni honorees with the “Stags Distinguished Service Award: Leader of the Herd” award in recognition of their unwavering support of Fairfield athletics.

The 94-year-old Wolff, who has been on the airwaves for 75 years, is the world’s longest-running TV and radio sportscaster.

He was the television voice of both New York Knicks' NBA championships in the early 1970s, though his most famous moment came when he called Yankees pitcher Don Larsen’s perfect game in the 1956 World Series.

Elmore, in his 27th year broadcasting college basketball, first for CBS and presently at ESPN, is a former high school All-American basketball standout at Power Memorial Academy in New York, and a former collegiate All-American at the University of Maryland.

A former ABA and NBA player, Elmore notched over 3,000 points and 3,000 rebounds during his NBA career.

MacMullan is a columnist for ESPNBoston.com and commentator on ESPN, as well as a regular panelist on the popular program “Around the Horn.”

A graduate of the University of New Hampshire, where she led the team in scoring as a sophomore and was team captain as a senior, MacMullan was a columnist and associate editor at The Boston Globe from 2002-2007.

She also worked as a senior writer at Sports Illustrated.

Fairfield Athletic Director, Gene Doris said Wolff, Elmore and MacMullan "have conducted themselves with great professionalism on the highest level, which is a model for both aspiring sports commentators of the future, and all student-athletes as they prepare for their post-college careers.”

The award ceremony will begin with a cocktail hour at 6:00 p.m., followed by dinner and award presentations from 7:00-9:00 p.m.

Tickets are $150 per person.
