"We had to adjust to playing with mouthpieces, which is a New Hampshire state rule and also playing on a college court," Mamaroneck head coach Tyrone Carver Jr. said. "This was a great team bonding experience,."

On opening night, the Tigers defeated Newport, N.H., 50-35.

Alec Araula led the Tigers (5-3) with 13 points and eight rebounds. Miles Haughton scored seven points and Alex Parkinson added six points and 11 rebounds.
