The swimwear was created as part of Colgate University's Thought into Action Entrepreneurship Institute.
He picked the brand name from a small town on Fire Island just off the southern coast of Long Island where Danehy spent his summers growing up.
Danehy played lacrosse at Mamaroneck High School and helped the team to Section 1 Class A championship as senior. Throughout his lacrosse career, he made 360 saves in career and had .721 save percentage. Danehy was also a two-time all-section and all-league choice.
He also played hockey and was the Dick Kittle Award winner for most valuable player. Danehy was a two-time team captain in both hockey and lacrosse.
