Mamaroneck resident Liz Garry scored four goals Sunday, leading Middlebury College to a 15-9 win over defending national champion Gettysburg College in a NCAA Division III Women’s Lacrosse regional.
Middlebury, which got two goals and an assist from Scarsale graduate Margaret Souther, advances to the final four, Saturday-Sunday, at Montclair State (N.J.) University.
This is the second final four for a Middlebury women’s team this college year. Last fall, Garry and Souther were instrumental in leading the field hockey team to the Division III national final.
