Pace University Athlete Kaitlyn Lynch Named Swimmer Of The Year

PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. -- Pace University swimmer Kaitlyn Lynch has been selected as Northeast-10 Female Swimmer of the Year.

Lynch was named the NE-10 Female Swimmer of the Meet at this year's NE-10 championships. She was the top female swimmer at last month's NE-10 Conference Championships and she was named the NE-10 Swimmer of the Meet. In addition, she earned the collegeswimming.com Women's Division II Swimmer of the Week award.

Lynch won three gold medals at the meet, and set a record in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 24.17. She also won the 100 butterfly and 100 backstroke with times of 56.82 and 57.06. Her 100 fly time was an NCAA provisional qualifying mark.
