The high school regular-season match up will begin at 4 p.m. between the Rye High School Garnets and the Eastchester High School Eagles, with the Westchester Knicks taking on the Delaware 87ers at 7 p.m.
“This is a crucial game for two rivals that are both competing in the toughest league in the section,” said Rye head coach John Aguilar. “The opportunity for the teams to play at the County Center on the Westchester Knicks floor is a dream come true for all of them.”
The MVP of the high school game will be recognized and presented with an award during halftime of the Westchester Knicks game.
The Westchester County Center has a rich history in local high school basketball. The first New York State Public High School Athletic Association Section One basketball championship game was held at the historic arena in 1960.
Fans who purchase tickets to the Westchester Knicks game will automatically receive access to both games. Tickets are still available at Ticketmaster outlets and the Westchester County Box Office.
The Westchester County Center is located at 198 Central Ave., White Plains.
