Car Burglar Smashes Window At Darien Country Club, Steals Purse, Phone A car burglar smashed the window of a car and made off with a purse and phone at a Fairfield County country club. The incident occurred in Darien at the Darien Country Club around 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, March 31. According to Sgt. Dan Skoumbros of the Darien Police, the victim returned to her vehicle when she found a rear window smashed and her purse and phone stolen. An investigation is underway. 3 Teens, 1 Armed, Charged In Hudson Valley Burglary Police captured three Hudson Valley teens for an alleged burglary in progress, one with a loaded gun. The incident occurred in Dutchess County in the Tompkins Terrace area on Wednesday, April 3, in Beacon. According to the Beacon Police, officers responded to the area and found the suspects had fled, but they were able to obtain a description of the teens. A quick search of the area turned up the suspects, where police found a 15-year-old had a loaded, illegal weapon, the department said. Dutchess County resident Marlene Sosa, age 32, of Poughkeepsie, was arrested on Thursday, April 4, following an investigation by the Dutchess County District Attorney's Office Drug Task Force. According to Det. Sgt. Adam Harris of the task force, an investigation began after residents of the shelter alerted agents that Sosa was selling cocaine. Ulster County resident Damon Foy, age 50, of Kerhonkson, was charged with felony murder on Wednesday, April 3, and arraigned in the town of Esopus Justice Court. According to Capt.
