A 23-year-old Alexandria motorcyclist killed in a crash on Tuesday, April 9 has been identified as a former US Marine. Kaden Olsen was broadsided by a DASH bus on Duke and North Ripley streets just after 5 p.m., police in Alexandria said. He died at the scene. A pair of former Warren County Sheriff's Office employees have been served with new indictments in connection with a deadly traffic stop in April 2022, Virginia State Police announced. On Monday, April 8, 2024, a Warren County grand jury handed up one felony count of homicide against Zachary A. Fadely, 31, of Shenandoah County, and one felony count of homicide against Tyler S. MD Man, 47, Sent Sexually Explicit Texts To Child In Woodbridge: Cops
A 47-year-old Maryland man is accused of sending sexually-explicit messages to a minor earlier this year in Prince William County, authorities said. Lamar Bobby Hopkins, of Oxon Hill, MD, was an acquaintance of the victim who received the disturbing texts in February 2023, in Woodbridge, Prince William County police said. A soldier was found dead Wednesday, April 10 at a Fort Meade barrack in Anne Arundel County, according to officials. The soldier was found by a service member who went into his room to check on him around 10:20 a.m., when he found him unresponsive, according to Shaun Herron, a public affairs specialist with the US Army.
