Three men face charges after burglarizing the Northern Westchester home of an Asian business owner, including one suspect accused of a hate crime, officials announced.
The trio, who all live in Queens, were indicted in connection with a September 2023 burglary at an Ossining residence, the Westchester County District Attorney's Office announced on Wednesday, April 10.

2 HS Students From Irvington, Ossining Place In Top 10 Of Prestigious Regeneron Competition
Two high school students from Westchester won top awards and took home tens of thousands of dollars in the country’s oldest and most prestigious science and math competition for high school seniors.
The two 17-year-old students, Ossining resident Thomas Cong and Irvington resident Christopher Zorn, placed No. 2 and No. 6 in the 2024 Regeneron Science Talent Search, respectively, the Society for Science announced on Tuesday, March 12.
In addition to placing in the top 10 in the prestigious competition, Cong took home $175,000, while Zorn took home $80,000 as part of their awards.…
Duo Nabbed For Smuggling Contraband Into Sing Sing Correctional Facility For Money: DA
Two men, including a correction officer, are accused of working to smuggle contraband into a Northern Westchester prison in exchange for payment, officials announced.
The suspects, Irvington resident Jose Estevez-Luciano, age 33, and Sleepy Hollow resident Francis De La Cruz, age 24, both face charges related to their alleged scheme to smuggle contraband into Sing Sing Correctional Facility in Ossining, the Westchester County District Attorney's Office announced on Thursday, Nov. 2.
