Convicted New Haven Felon Found With Fentanyl, Cocaine, Weapons, More: Police
A Connecticut man and convicted felon was arrested on additional drug charges after police allegedly found him with a stash of drugs and weapons.
The New Haven County arrest was made on Thursday, May 2 in the city of New Haven.
At approximately 11 a.m. that day, Connecticut State Police, the Statewide Narcotics Task Force, and multiple other agencies executed a search on Quezon A. Jones, age 26.
During the search, authorities seized the following:

Know Them? Delco Duo Wanted For Murder, Troopers Say
Two men wanted for homicide in Delaware County are sought by Pennsylvania State Police.
Naere Shamir Alexander-Thorpe, 25, and Jamade Imira McMillian, 24, both have ties to Delco, Delaware state, and "surrounding states," troopers said.
In addition to the murder charges, both men are accused of attempted homicide, aggravated assault, and weapons charges, according to authorities.

Attempted Homicide: Juveniles Arrested In Hoboken Shooting, Police Say
Two juveniles were arrested and charged on Thursday, Jan. 25 for a November shooting in Hoboken, authorities said.
On Wednesday, Nov. 8, at 11:58 p.m., officers responded to a report of a shooting on the 300 block of Jackson Street and found three shell casings, Hoboken police said. Soon after, Jersey City police found four men matching the description of the suspects and arrested all four, including the two juveniles, on weapons charges, police said.

Two men were indicted by a grand jury for their role in a triple shooting that killed one person in Elizabeth in June, authorities said.

Three men were arrested in Bayonne on Thursday, Oct. 26 after a stolen gun out of Elizabeth was recovered, Bayonne police said.

Bloomfield Man Convicted Of Murdering Gas Station Attendant: Prosecutors
A 36-year-old Bloomfield man was convicted of murdering Jahque Benbow, a 23-year-old gas station attendant in May 2022, prosecutors announced.
On Tuesday, Oct. 10, a jury found Lamar Sommers guilty of murder in the first degree, conspiracy to commit murder and two weapons charges, Acting Essex County Prosecutor Theodore N. Stephens, II said. He faces a minimum of 30 years in prison when he is sentenced in December, Stephens said.
