MAMARONECK, N.Y. - The light snowfall in Mamaroneck was mostly washed away by rain Tuesday morning, but the area may be seeing white again this week, according to the National Weather Service.
Tuesday's high is expected to peak around 46 degrees with an 80 percent chance of occasional rain likely after noon. Scattered showers could continue early Tuesday night with a low around 37 degrees. Winds are expected to reach between nine and 16 miles per hour.
Winds will pick up Wednesday with gusts as high as 34 miles per hour. But things are looking sunny Wednesday with a high near 41, and into Thursday. Thursday night, however, will be mostly cloudy with a chance of snow showers and a low around 24 degrees. The chance of precipitation is 30 percent.
The sun is expected to stay out Friday, before clouds move in Friday night with a low near 30 degrees. Before the weekend can warm up, expect a light winter mix of snow and rain Saturday. Temperatures will rise to the upper 30s and remain there overnight.
Sunday will be cloudy with a high near 46 degrees and a low near 39 degrees.
