Community Says Farewell To Rye Smoke Shop

RYE, N.Y. -- The Smoke Shop will close after 50 years in Rye.

Residents can say goodbye to Peggy and Tony D’Onofrio at the Rye Reading Room on Saturday, March 19, from 6 to 8 p.m.

A date for the closing of the shop is currently unknown.

As previously reported on Rye Daily Voice, the store has been operating on a month-to-month basis. Landlord John Ferrari gained approval to move forward with plans to renovate the building.
