Harrison's Uncle Henry's Is A DVlicious Finalist For Best Wings

HARRISON, N.Y. -- They’re messy, they’re spicy and they’re friggin addictive. It’s no wonder they’re often served by the dozen. We asked Daily Voice readers for their favorite Westchester chicken wing spots and now have five finalists in the running.

Cast your ballot for the one you like best – then tell your friends. You can only vote once.

In the spirit of "winging it" (sorry, we couldn't resist the pun), each finalist is being profiled this week, with the contest ending 5 p.m. Monday, Nov. 23.

Uncle Henry's Bar & Grill, 309 Halstead Ave, Harrison, (914) 835-0804

Wing Choices: Buffalo, barbecue, honey barbecue, teriyaki, and bushwacker.

Most Popular Heat Level: Hot. The Buffalo variety is available in mild, hot, extra hot and "Cry Uncle," a sauce so fiery customers are invited to try it first before ordering (nine times out of 10 they don't order it). It's not on the menu but something regulars know to ask for.

Good to Know: During Monday night football, wings are 50 cents. Also nice to know: the family-owned restaurant is in it's 20th year.
