New York Times Gives White Plains' Pax Romana High Rating

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- The Roman influenced cuisine at White Plains restaurant Pax Romana received a "very good" rating in a review in The New York Times.

And while the city does not resemble Rome, the dishes there, which include "cacio e pepe" and "spaghetti carbonara," both cited, are valiant creations, said the article. 

The establishment is owned by brothers, Alfredo and Christian Runco, and they have a partner, Paul Russo, who all hail from Westchester, according to the Times. 

Chef Cristian Petitta was mentioned for cooking a "splendid porchetta," in the report.

The review also praised items, including breadsticks, octopus spread and chicken wings.
