Ethical Culturists Name McDowell Child Educator

WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. -- Alexandra Weisman McDowell has been named director of Ethical Education by the Ethical Culture Society of Westchester.

“Ali” McDowell is an educator with a master’s degree from Bank Street College of Education.

Families are invited to a reception for McDowell Sunday, Sept. 13 at 10 a.m. to meet her and learn about the curriculum. Following at 10:30 a.m., Richard Koral will give a short talk, “An Introduction to Ethical Culture.”

A cookout will follow in the Society’s green backyard / playground, and everyone is invited. Children in grades K-8 are welcome to participate in the classes.

Childcare will also be provided. 

The Ethical Culture Society is at 7 Saxon Wood Rd., White Plains, next to the Saxon Woods Pool just north of Hutchinson Exit 23N.
