Metro-North New Haven Line service is experiencing delays of up to 30 minutes Thursday evening due to power issues in the vicinity of Mount Vernon East station caused by fallen tree branches in overhead wires and single tracking.
Delays of up to 60 minutes had originally occurred after the incident, which was reported around 7:30 p.m.
Metro-North advises customers to listen to announcements at local stations.
