Three swastikas were reportedly found on the board in the building's fourth floor, said News 12 Westchester.
Photos were shared on a college Facebook "open forum," said News 12 Westchester.
A similar incident happened at SUNY Purchase two years ago when a student was charged with drawing multiple swastikas on walls and a door in a residence hall, according to New York State University Police, as reported in Daily Voice.
The vandalism was uncovered Sunday, Betsy Aldredge, a spokeswoman for the college, told lohud.
The investigation is continuing and SUNY Purchase is in contact with "appropriate agencies as is protocol," Aldredge said to the newspaper.
The New York state university police is conducting the investigation into the incident, lohud said.
In the lohud report, police ask anyone who encounters this kind of vandalism, not to tamper with it and that information on this incident be reported to police at (914) 251-6900.
