MAMARONECK, N.Y. -- Dorothy Lillian Bassi (nee Kusanke), of Mamaroneck, died on July 11, 2015. She was 89.
She was born on Dec. 22, 1925 in the Bronx to Otto and Wilhelmina Kusanke.
Bassi is survived by her daughters, Lina (Carl) Calarco; Marie (Kevin) Ryder; Gaeann (Jim) Bianco; eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband, Armand Bassi and her sister, Florence Cato.
To honor Bassi's life, family and friends will gather on Tuesday, July 14 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Coxe & Graziano Funeral Home, 767 East Boston Post Road in Mamaroneck. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, July 15 at 10 a.m. at Wartburg Chapel in Mount Vernon, followed by interment at St. Raymond's Cemetery.
