MAMARONECK, N.J. – Giuseppina Miele, of Mamaroneck, died Monday, June 6. She was 89.
Miele came to America from Andretta, Italy, in 1966. She was the wife of the late Michele Miele, who died in 2007. She worked various jobs while raising a family. She loved cooking and gardening.
She was the mother of Domenico (Patricia), Giovanni (Cynthia) and Rose Cascione (Mike); grandmother of 10; and great-grandmother of 16.
In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by siblings Nicola Fierro and Francesco Fierro.
Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. Wednesday and from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Thursday at Coxe and Graziano Funeral Home, 767 E. Boston Post Road, Mamaroneck. A Mass of Christian burial will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Gregory the Great followed by interment at Greenwood Union Cemetery.
