Irving J. Levine, 93, Mamaroneck Resident

MAMARONECK, N.Y. — Mamaroneck resident Irving J. Levine died on Monday, May 9. He was 93.

He was born on July 5, 1922, to Max and Pauline Levine in Mount Vernon, Levine served in the U.S. Army during World War II. 

After returning from military service combat, Levine  was an editor with Gannett Newspapers in White Plains, now The Journal News.

His wife, Lillian Levine died in 1993, and he also was predeceased by one brother, Milton Levine and two sisters, Frieda and Estelle. 

Levine is survived by his daughter, Gail and her husband, Daniel Siegel; granddaughter, Lori Siegel; and companion, Elaine Rubinson. 

Graveside Services will take place at Mount Pleasant Cemetery, in Hawthorne on Wednesday, May 11 at 11 a.m.
