The fight, which began around 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at the Greenburgh Town Pool on Olympic Lane, when a teen girl and her former boyfriend started fighting, said Greenburgh Police Lt. Kobie Powell.

Powell did not know the exact number of people involved in the fight at Anthony Veteran Park but said two people received minor injuries during the melee, that included a woman hitting a 13-year-old boy.

When the fight began between the young female and male, who has an order of protection not to bother the female, the families of the two became involved and the incident escalated, Powell said.

Because of the domestic nature and the age of some involved, Powell said he could not provide more detailed information.

A woman was charged with assault and a man was charged with criminal contempt. Both were scheduled to appear in court on Wednesday.
