Jordan Chin of New Rochelle was killed around 1:54 p.m. Sunday following the crash on Memorial Highway near the North Avenue overpass, according to Capt. Cosmo Costa with the New Rochelle Police Department.
Chin, who had been driving a 2002 Yamaha, was found by New Rochelle police off the road near the base of a street light pole, Costa said.
Officers and first responders rendered medical aid and transported Chin to New Rochelle Montefiore Hospital, he said.
"It appeared he fractured both his skull as well as other limbs. He was pronounced deceased at 2:12 p.m.," Costa said.
The crash is under investigation.
