The one-hour tutorial, which is open to students in grades 6 through 12, will be led by local computer expert Lee Wexler.
The workshop is part of the Hour of Code program, an introduction to computer science designed to demystify code.
No experience is needed for the course. Registration is required, however, and space is limited to 10 students.
Those who participate must bring headphones.
Only seven laptops are available. Participants are encouraged to bring their own, if possible.
