The New York State Department of Transportation announced that lane closures have been scheduled on weekdays beginning on Monday, Aug. 27 and through October from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. and on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. between Montgomery Avenue in Eastchester and Scarsdale Boulevard, in the village.

Officials said that the scope of the project is expected to last through October. Motorists can expect delays in the area and have been advised to seek alternate routes, when possible. There will be flaggers in the area to assist with the flow of traffic during the gas main replacement project.
