The New York State Department of Transportation has issued an alert, cautioning motorists that the closures will begin on Monday, Aug. 27, between exit 8 (Hardscrabble Road) and Exit 4 (Route 172).
Single lane closures are expected to begin at 6 p.m. in North Salem, Lewisboro and North Castle. Double lane closures will begin at approximately 10 p.m. All lanes are expected to be reopened no later than 3 a.m. each morning.
The NYSDOT said that during the scope of the project, motorists can expect delays and should seek alternate routes, when possible. There are expected to be flaggers in the area to assist with the flow of traffic.
