Funeral Details Released For 5 NY Women Struck Dead On I-81 In PA (Update) Funeral details and a statement from the family have been released after five women returning from Umrah in Mecca, Saudi Arabia were killed on Interstate 81 on Tuesday evening, Jan. 16. The women "were on their way back home from the Dulles airport," their family told Daily Voice. They were struck dead by a tractor-trailer at the 199.3-mile marker in Scott Township, approximately 12 miles north of Scranton, troopers detailed in a release.
