Fish Hooks Found In Dog Treats On Appalachian Trail In PA The Pennsylvania Game Commission is warning pet owners after fish hooks were found stuffed in dog treats on the Appalachian Trail in Lehigh County. Authorities said a hiker discovered the treats near the North Trail Loop leading to the George W. Outerbridge shelter in Slatington over the weekend.  "Items like these could prove deadly to any animal that consumes them, including wild and domesticated animals," the PGC said.  Anyone with information or anyone who finds more tainted treats is asked to call 1-888-PGC-WILD or 1-888-PGC-HUNT.
